AFC Leopards have suspended head coach Rodolfo Zapata for the remainder of the season, according to sources.
The decision was taken Friday following the team’s recent poor form.
Tom Juma who was his assistant and team manager Gilbert Selebwa have been tasked to oversee the remainder of the season.
The team is set to play Ulinzi Stars and Nzoia United before they close the season.
Leopards blew away their only chance of winning a silverware this season after they were bundled out of SportPesa Shield by Sofapaka at the semis Sunday.

The huge setback was followed by a 4-0 thumping by Tusker in a mid-week KPL match Wednesday.
Argentine Zapata joined Ingwe mid this year from Gaborone United in a 6-month contract.
His short stint has been far from impressive with a section of the executive committee and fans questioning his tactics.
He is believed to have fallen out with Selebwa and Juma further making his work difficult.
