The last few months have been trying for everyone, and for Tia Mowry, her children were the ones that made things better.

The actress shared an adorable photo of her daughter Cairo, smelling some flowers while on a walk. She reminded her fans how important it was to celebrate the little things.

In the post, she wrote that she had been struggling over the last few days and had decided to reflect and focus on the things that matter.

The "Sister Sister" star who has two children, Cree and Cairo, called them her miracles, adding that she had been blessed to have them. She said:

"On our walk, Cairo literally stopped and smelled the flowers. She reminded me of a great lesson. STOP and appreciate the little things in life. For, in the end, they are not so little. They are actually BIG things."

After dating for six years, Mowry and her husband Cory Hardrict got married in 2008. She revealed that while they were dating, they waited a whole year to kiss each other.

The pair are both hands-on parents with her sharing that they did not put any gender roles on their marriage or relationship.

She said that her daughter had slept in their bed since she was born.

Last year, Mowry faced some backlash after she revealed that she and her husband believed in co-sleeping with their children.

During an interview, she said that her daughter had slept in their bed since she was born while her brother slept with them until he turned 4. However, her mother disagreed with them. Tia explained:

"She's like, you need to do the cry-out method. Put your baby in the crib.' And I'm like,'No! I don't want my baby to have any sign of stress whatsoever."

And it's not just her mother who had a different approach to parenting. Mowry shared that even though she grew up being spanked, she did not believe in disciplining her children that way.

She added that her sister Tamera Mowry-Housley was more traditional and occasionally would spank her children.
