Former AEW TNT Champion Wardlow shared a photo and in doing so, he sent a warning to the AEW locker room.
Last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was the fourth anniversary of the Jacksonville-based promotion. During the episode, Mr. Mayhem shocked the wrestling world by making a return. He showed up and had a match against Griff Garrison.
Some may even argue if we could even call it a match. The former TNT Champion entered the ring and absolutely destroyed Garrison with a series of Powerbombs. This knocked out Garrison, and the referee had no other choice but to call off the match.
With AEW Dynamite set to take place in Kansas City this week, Wardlow took to Twitter to hint at him showing up at the show to give someone a beating of a lifetime. While he tweeted that, he also shared a picture of his muscular physique.
“Might fly to Kansas City tomorrow to knock someone tf out @AEW #AEWDynamite,” Wardlow tweeted.
Many fans speculate that his target is going to be the current AEW World Heavyweight Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman. It might also be because when he made his return to the Jacksonville-based promotion, on his wristband, he had the initials MJF written on them.
As of now, there is no update on whether Mr. Mayhem will be part of the show, but fans will have to tune in tonight and find out.
On tonight’s special Title Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley makes his return to in-ring action where he challenges Rey Fenix for the International Championship. Saraya will also defend her title against Hikaru Shida. The Rated R Superstar, Edge will also take on Luchasaurus.
